Abstract

This thesis presents three unique lesson study manuscripts. Chapter 2 is an analysis of teacher learning as PCK during lesson study (Carlson et al., 2019), Chapter 3 chronicles remote science inquiry instruction with students, resulting from the development of the lesson study research lesson, and Chapter 4 is a Cultural Historical Activity Theory or CHAT (Engstrom, 1987) analysis of the ontogeny, or development, of the research lesson.
