Abstract
Jamaican poet Tanya Shirley reads and performs her poetry at a local venue in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Shirley reads a number of her poems (not yet published but forthcoming with Peepal Tree Press) which are influenced by and react to Jamaican Dancehall culture and rhythms. Produced by Stephanie McKenzie, Grenfell Campus, Corner Brook, Newfoundland.
