Abstract
Libraries of all types and sizes have taken on the role of digitizing unique local analog collections and preserving born digital collections for long-term access by the general public. The session will describe two case studies which illustrate the best practices associated with digitizing an analog collection (Mouseion: The Journal of the Classical Association of Canada) for Project Muse and managing and preserving a collection of born digital electronic theses.
