Abstract

Memorial University Libraries created a YouTube channel featuring videos where common reference questions are answered by Librarians. Partnering with our Distance Education, Learning and Teaching Support Department we created professional quality videos on topics like APA, MLA, and Chicago Style that can be embedded in course management software, our website, and uploaded to YouTube. We’ll identify recommended best-practices when using video for online learning, and reveal our “Top Ten Tips” for creating your own instructional YouTube videos
