Abstract
CFICE is an action research project supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council that aims to strength Canadian non-profits, post-secondary institutions and funding agencies to build more successful, innovative, resilient, and prosperous communities. We ask the question: How can community-campus engagement be designed and implemented in ways that maximize the value for non-profits? During this session we wish to invite community engagement practitioners to join the CFICE community to share their stories, and tell us how they determine impacts and outcomes of community-campus engagement. We are particularly interested in hearing from those working in poverty reduction, community food security, community environmental sustainability, violence against women, and knowledge mobilization.
