Abstract

Community knowledge is not seen as ‘scientific’ in traditional research, however it is a critical ingredient for enhancing our understanding of local problems, and developing solutions for the same. Community-based participatory research has been effective approach to address these issues and mobilising community through participatory research can contribute to mobilizing knowledge from the community. This webinar will enable participants to explore the meanings and relevance of community knowledge and also learn about the participatory research methodologies.
